Low Waste Lunchbox
Our team visits your school to engage students in an interactive examination of their lunch box practices.
About this excursion
We come to your school and have the students to examine their practices in regard to their lunch boxes. We examine single use items, health impacts of their chosen foods and support the students to come up with alternatives that are healthier for them and the planet.
Excursion activities
Through hands-on activities, students will:
- Identify and evaluate the use of single-use items in their lunch boxes.
- Reflect on the health impacts of their chosen foods.
- Collaborate to develop practical, healthier alternatives that benefit both their wellbeing and the environment.
This incursion empowers students to make mindful food choices, reduce waste, and adopt sustainable habits that support a healthier lifestyle and a greener planet.
