Waterwise

"Proud to be a Waterwise school" sign

Cascade Environmental Education Centre has formed a partnership with Coffs Harbour City Council, Clarence Valley Council, Kempsey Shire Council and Bellingen Shire Council to deliver the Waterwise program.

The program is conducted at no cost to schools and preschools in each partner council area.

Aspects of the program include:

  • Cascade Environmental Education Centre's Waterwise staff conducting a staff information session
  • working with classes delivering high quality lessons on local catchments, water use, water conservation and human impacts on waterways
  • teacher release to enable programming and collaboration
  • the presentation of a Waterwise school sign on the completion of the program requirements.
