Years 7-10 Orienteering

Our Orienteering program teaches interpersonal skills and teambuilding.

We provide students with the opportunity to roam Cascade with a compass and an Ipad. Along the course students complete small challenges that they must complete as a team. This activity fits perfectly into our leadership program, yet, is a very fun activity we can slot into any camp.

Students are explicitly taught how to use a compass, take a bearing and how to measure distance. Therefore, crossing into the KLA's of Geography, Mathematics and PDHPE.
